Eurolocking – a modular standardised digital interlocking

The differences and characteristics of a railway interlocking system as opposed to applications in the process industry soon become apparent when building and developing
a new electronic interlocking system, while using components that are already widely used in industry. This is especially the case when it comes to the safe control and monitoring
of point machines and railway signals in combination with the flexible and modular design of the overall system and the published requirements, which have not yet been able to be met using standard components.
